We brought our old Vienna Regulator that I inherited over 20 years ago, it is over 100 years old to Matthias after moving to Kelowna. It had not run since the last time it was “fixed”. Matthias is amazing, thorough, and knowledgeable. He got it running beautifully again and even fixed the chime tone. I hope that master craftsmen like Matthias are able to find apprentices to pass their knowledge, or the world will lose these beautiful timepieces. His waiting list is long but worth the wait. I a major back problem with arthritis and scoliosis the toes were numbing and the shots at the pain clinic were not working which meant that I would have to go on steroids or narcotics for pain.
