A better family restaurant. I like the White Spot, a lot! Solid menu with selections varying from delicious junk food (eg gourmet poutine) to kids food (Pirate Pack) to healthy choices to satisfying comfort food. Decent wine and beer menu, if a tad limited. Superlative pies and gooey desserts. The coffee is known city wide as "White Spot coffee." Distinctive (no, not bad, distinctive). My go to spot for an economical, satisfying repast. Read more

I recently visited this (new?) location with my friends and much to my joy the service was cool and attractive and the server was attentive... In other words, very good!! The food was good to above average and well cooked! tasty Chicken, and I special ordered melting cheese. Being a fan of inventive food, I will probably return to this location just for that but would definitely take a drive here also to satisfy my appetite for eye candy. I really liked it although the cheese was kinda salty and after a while. I would definitly go again, the waitresses were really cute but kinda old. Read more

This air conditioned five star family run restaurant with a warm atmosphere in Burnaby serves the very best dishes at reasonable pricing. The serving staff is wonderful, the chef and his crew are top notch. My only wish is that they never retire and close down this business because being the best restaurant in the Lower Mainland does take a lot of effort and discipline. Read more

They have a good standard menu. My friend loves her BC beef burger and I decided to try the ribs for a change. It was fine and served with coleslaw and potato salad. Lots of booth seating or tables. Not loud so you can hear yourself talk except for the odd child being a little noisy. The service was good especially if you go early evening when not busy just yet. We finished it odd with a sizeable brownie served with ice cream which did the sugar trick. Read more
