Je n’ai rien de négatif à mentionner.. j’ai fait un test de goût ce midi je n’avais jamais essayer le foie de veau et ils m’ont demander si je l’avais aimer en effet je ne pensais pas que cetais cela alors je ne l’ai pas aimer (tout dépend des goûts) mais honnêtement ils ont pris le temps de s’assurer si cetais une problématique de cuisson ou quelque chose qui n’allais pas avec. Nous arrivons de votre retaurant rue Wilfrid Hamel. Nous avons pris 2 assiettes de langoustines et dans l'une il n'y avait pas de patates. L'autre assiette, soit la mienne, il n'y avait pas de riz. Personne c'est informé si le tout est à notre gout. Avec expérience de d'autre restaurant, votre gros problème est un manque de personnel. La dame qui nous a servi doit s'occuper: L'eau, pain, la commande, nous servir, dessert, le breuvage, ouvrir la bouteille de vin, la facture et de plus aller à la caisse. They started us off with warm dinner rolls - good, but nothing special. All entrees come with all you can eat fries, and they are delicious. Crunchy but not too deep-fried. Our meals also came with perfectly steamed green beans. Three out of four steaks were perfect - one rare, two medium rare. My rare steak was one of the better I've had - it was red through the middle but it was still hot when it got to the table! The fourth steak (medium) was a bit tough. Read more

Dining out to a new restaurant is always a gamble. Am I going to have a good time? Is the food any good? How does this restaurant rate? Before you base your choice on the menu plastered outside of the restaurant window or from someone you just met off the street, here are some simple tips to guide your stomach to the best restaurants.


Tips on how to find restaurants in QC

  • Restaurant reviews: Online and newspaper restaurant reviews in the food or lifestyle section are your best asset when trying to find top restaurants in your area. Most reviews rate the restaurant by atmosphere, portion size, price and service. These independent restaurant reviewers have no one to please but their finicky tastes.
  • The concierge always knows: If you are travelling in QC, your hotel’s concierge or hotel staff will be able to find restaurants that suit your taste buds and budget. Are you looking for something ethnic, local or for a fine dining experience? The concierge will be able to lead you in the right direction and even place a reservation for you or place a takeout order if dealing with delivery restaurants.
  • Call ahead: If you have specific dietary needs, food allergies or need to host a large party, call the restaurant of your choice ahead of time and be specific. You don’t want to ruin your evening dining out because the restaurant didn’t have a highchair for little Tommy.
  • Ask the neighbourhood: Most local food and wine vendors deal directly with the restaurants in your neighbourhood. Ask them about the restaurants they deal with and the kinds of meals they serve.
  • Sense of adventure: Your nose is your best tool when out to find
