If my boyfriend and I want great food that never disappoints we make the teck from Maple Ridge to Charlie's it's hands down our favorite place to eat and the fact that they have gluten free options is even better as I have celiac and finding places that have a clear menu for gluten free and is safe and understanding and doesn't judge me for something I can't control. Hate the wait but love the food. If you come at 10pm on a Saturday still a 10 minutes wait. I have been here a couple of times before and always excellent. The meatballs in tomato sauce just amazing. We had the zucchini and rabbit pasta dishes and both so good. Cooked just al dente, good amount of flavour and just enough coating of sauce. Very good selection of by glass or bottle wines. We came here for ‎the dinner, show and dancing. Every table had a good view of the stage. The Abba tribute band was fantastic. The service was excellent. The food was very good & We shared the 3 & 4 course options. We started off with endive salad, mussels, daily pasta special of Italian sausage in red sauce that was cooked al dente, risotto w/ porchini mushrooms & pork tenderloin. Along w/ a nice bottle of chianti we finished off with tiramusu & panna cotta. It was a great evening out. Read more

We hoped by coming in on a Sunday it would be less of a wait. We were fortunate to get seated at 6pm as whenever we drive past there is always a lineup. Street parking is available. We tried their caprese to start, their daily pasta which was a red pepper cream penne & their prosciutto e Rucola pizza. They serve neopolitan style pizza w/ a nicely salted chewy crust. As the tomatoe sauce was fresh, the downside is a slighly wetter pizza base. Overall, good food eating experience & worth trying. Read more

We had a lovely table by the window so we had a nice view. Overall ambience is very bright and contemporary. To our benefit the restaurant was not that busy on a weeknight and we parked very close. The service was very good. We enjoyed their daily flatbread special and crab cakes to start. For our mains we went with halibut and osso bucco, both too were very good and cooked just right. And to finish went with a delicious choco molten cake just perfect to share. Read more
