I took my wife here for our anniversary on friday based on some recommendations and we had one of the best dinning nights out ever. What would you expect if you tried to get a table for 7 people on a saturday nite without a reservation when the place is lined up. We had a great time, the food was good and the service was adequate considering how busy the place was. The lineup indicated they are doing something right. I moved from Unionville to Newmarket two years ago. I still make a monthly pilgrimage to Mr Fish and Chips because I haven't found anything remotely comparable from here to Vaughan. The fish batter is light and flaky. Their chips are good, but the potato fritters (my personal favourite) are lip-smacking goodness. The eat-in area is pretty basic. Definitely NOT somewhere to go on a first date. Come for the food, not the ambiance. Read more

It was pretty decent. We got the beef wrapped in pancake, smoked pork with pancake and shrimp dumplings. It's a lot of carbs, so you get full pretty quickly. If I had to do it again, I would get one pancake dish and two types of dumplings instead. Didn't care much for the fact that they only take cash. Read more

I can easily finish a bowl of rice with this dish only. Chongqing Noodles – noodles with very tasty meat sauce (a bit chunky I believe it’s the radish). It’s worth to give it a try.
